Jasiminne and her sexy zoo...full of pets!

Hey guys! recently my friend Jasiminne Yip had a exhibition of some of her work at The Rich Mix cinema on Bethnal Green road. In the middle of others graduated artists, she was for sure one of the high lights of the evening due her irreverent, mean and contemporary theme of her drawings. I loved it! specially because i have been there in those cases documented by her! And most of the Shoreditch girls...unfortunately! lol I came to speak to her and she asked me " Do you you think is it to much too expose the boys like this? Some people may recognize them!!" I said "Naah!" Bullshit the zoo is great and it was a brilliant idea! Specially because that is Jasiminne Yip artist and person...a mix of creativity, boldness, lively, curiosity, sensuality, shameless and a bit of promiscuity we could say...hehehe. She is amazing and for sure a catch everywhere that she goes. And who didn't want to have a zoo like that by the way??

Born and raised in a quiet suburbs of Subanq Jaya, Malaysia, Jasiminne moved to London in 2006 to study illustration at Central St Martins. Since then she got seduced by the bright lights of the city and by the people and lifestyle. Her work is all about her dreams, secrets, desires and a imaginary trust. She got seduced by London and London is getting seduced by her!

A part of the illustration Jasiminne has a truth passion for music, dance, dressing up, telling stories and photography. Often she uses her friends and her flat as a scenario of some great editorials.

Check her website: jasiminne.com or her blog: http://poshbrokebored.blogspot.com

“Her controversial subject areas reference her social commentary on the subjects at hand. The backbone of sexuality, social commentary and wit is a constant theme in her work...as is...her openness and her questioning of her environment about her. There is a real bravery to her work that is uncommon, and quite special.”
-Amelia’s Magazine

For the exhibition at the Rich Mix Jasiminne prepared the Jasiminne Petting zoo which was a selection of illustration of real boys in a real, intimated and irreverent moments. One attractive woman can make even a gay guy confused and horny... lol that is what they say, right? And that is what it shows in her draws.

Check it out!
