Hello guys!
I really needed to show those looks in here!
Fanny and Jessy is one of the new young fashion labels which impressed me at the most this season! I like their aspiration based in the youth culture of today and how they express the woman in a sensual, visionary, modern and androgyny way trough their collection! Their outfit is made for those self confident, alternative, contemporary girls with no fear of the transparency, the boyish and fetish elements, the intricate shapes, the new unconventional fabrics and the aggressiveness of the dark and powerful leathers and synthetic looks! It is all about the attitude!
The collection intend to drop the common and clichés concepts of the feminine and bring something experimental, innovative and boldness to the girls outfits! They can prove that a street style with bits of punk influence can also be very elegant, contemporary, sensual and seductive!!
I knew about them trough my friend Mauricio Stein who is developing some sunglasses for their label in collaboration with his label Maustein. I saw i few pieces and got really amazed by the hole look book!
During the Fashion week i met Jessy ( Jess Jobst) -who is a very sweet person by the way- and she sent me over some images of their collection that i could use in here and in my others writings such as the Brazilian magazine, Pura, and the Tellus Fashion uk website ( launching soon). She was wearing their label's coat with the golden chains rings! Sooo good! I particularly loved that one!
check it out some pieces of their look book! They are a proper absurd! I love them all! Not just because they can be a trend or anything like that. I personal really identify myself in their concept of something dare, innovative because we are all tired of the same things!!
Those Somerset english girls, graduate from London College of Fashion in 2009, had first collection ‘I Hope You Die Soon’ been wore by Celebrities suc as Saint Saviour of Groove Armada, Rihanna, Sarah Harding of Girls Aloud, Caroline of Kap Bambino and Bourgeois and Maurice. Their second one titled ‘Vaniloquence’, released in February 2010, has already had some of its pieces borrowed by Lady Gaga for her world-wide tour. With a good response from the press their collection is mentioned by the Dazed Japan's latest edition a part of magazines such as Phoenix and Super Super.
