Thank you all those which has been already collaborating with this sending me some stuff of their work in here that may be a interest of the people down there such as Jimmy Warboy and the Caligula crew which is going to be part of my next edition.
A part of that i want to show here some good things that is happening in the e-world in Brazil proving that we are not just about samba, football, Ronaldinho and naked girls.... i hate those cliches! Like very often when i meet people around here they say " oh you are from brazil so dance samba a little bit for us to see! hahahahha god!" First i am not the type of samba girl cause i think i am a way to dark for the style second we do have another kind of music too! We also know how to make electronic music and we do have great festivals too!!
check our website...http://www.revistapura.com.br even if its all in portuguese you can watch some videos and get some names of great djs and producers such as Anderson noise and Gui Boratto (know around Europe) plus others not as know but also good!!!
Same names of Brazilian djs check it out!:
CSS (Cansei de ser sexy) band mixing rock with electronic in a irreverent and geek style. They are one of my favorites and they are very well know around Europe! they have played in many festival such as Get Loaded in the Park-UK.
I am sure you have listen to this tune around... (Beautiful Life-Gui Boratto) its a old one...but its a classic (reminds me my good times when i started to discover the electronic music and the clubbing scene still in Belo Horizonte back in Brazil) and i have listened it in some clubs around here!
